E-scooter warranty conditions

 

General warrant services

 

For all models:

  • Two-year warranty on the following components of the e-scooter: footboard, complete front assembly, brake pedal. All wearing parts, small parts and screws are excluded from this warranty.

X-Series:

  • Two-year warranty on the following electrical components: Motor, display, controller and cables.
  • Two-year warranty on the battery. The warranty on the battery only applies in the event of an abnormal decrease in battery capacity. We guarantee a remaining capacity of 60% of the original nominal capacity.

Merlin, Explorer and all other models:

  • One year warranty on the following electrical components: Motor, display, controller and cables.
  • One year warranty on the battery. The warranty on the battery only applies in the event of an abnormal decrease in battery capacity. We guarantee a remaining capacity of 60% of the original nominal capacity.

 

 

Warranty services by Micro

Based on this warranty, Micro undertakes to provide the following services during the respective warranty period:

  • Repair or replacement of parts/components with equivalent parts. The replacement parts may differ from the original in terms of model and/or color.
  • Repair or replacement work does not extend the original warranty.

Services that do not fall within the scope of the warranty and are within the competence of the respective specialist dealer, as well as the cleaning of e-scooters in unclean conditions, will be charged at the standard hourly rate including all costs incurred for materials and transportation

 

 

Exclusions from the warranty Garantie

The following damage is not covered by the warranty:

  • Damage due to failure to charge the battery when necessary.
  • Damage caused by parking, charging or use outside the specified temperature range
  • Non-intended use, improper use or negligent driving behavior (e.g. jumping with the e-scooter).
  • Improper modifications or interventions by third parties (e.g. opening the footboard).
  • Improper charging (e.g. by charging with a charger other than the one supplied).
  • Exceeding the maximum speed of 40 km/h when riding downhill.
  • Technical modifications to the e-scooter without the manufacturer's consent
  • Subsequent conversion or installation of incompatible or non-original parts.
  • Wearing parts such as ball bearings, plain bearings, bearing bolts, bearing screws, etc.
  • Non-compliance with the maintenance intervals.
  • Damage due to missing or incorrect setting(s) or worn components.
  • Damage as a result of a fall.
  • Injuries or property damage suffered by third parties or property damage caused by the use of the e-scooter.
  • Damage caused by unsuitable cleaning agents and aids, such as the use of high-pressure cleaners or cleaning additives
  • Damage caused by user negligence in connection with protection against water (although the e-scooter is splash-proof, it is not waterproof).
